as we see it

The Friends of Nina Ananiashvili in New York try to attend as many of her performances as possible. All reviews in this section are written by Marylis Sevilla-Gonzaga, a co-creator of this website, and reflect her personal views only. They are not written in consultation with the artist or any other persons. We will try to keep these pages up to date with Nina's performances. Of course, we continue to post published reviews as they become available. In these days of shrinking coverage of the arts, even in the most prestigious metropolitan newspapers, we hope that visitors to this Website will enjoy detailed reports we strive to provide of this remarkable artist's cherishable performances.
